Super Mahjong on the SNES is exactly what it sounds like—a no-frills, straight-to-the-point mahjong game. You get a clean, traditional Japanese setup with crisp tile designs and that satisfying click when you place one down. No fancy gimmicks, just you against the AI in a battle of wits and luck.
The controls take a second to get used to if you’re not familiar with old-school mahjong sims, but once it clicks, it’s weirdly addictive. I kept telling myself "one more round" way too many times. The AI isn’t brutal, but it’s not a pushover either—just enough to keep you on your toes.
If you’re into classic mahjong and don’t mind the lack of flashy extras, this one’s a solid time-waster.
