Super Kyuukyoku Harikiri Stadium is one of those weird, hyper-Japanese SNES games that never made it overseas—which is a shame, because it's basically baseball cranked up to anime insanity levels. Pitchers throw fireballs, batters send the ball into orbit, and the fielding animations are so over-the-top you'll laugh the first time you see an outfielder backflip to catch a pop fly.
It's got that classic 16-bit charm, but with way more chaos than your average sports sim. The menus are all in Japanese, but after a couple innings you'll figure out the pitcher-batter mind games naturally. Just don't expect realism—this is the kind of game where stealing home plate involves a ninja-style smoke bomb.
If you dig quirky retro sports games, this one's a hidden gem.
