Super Jinsei Game is one of those weird, charming Japanese board games that never made it overseas—sort of like a more chaotic Mario Party, but with a retro SNES vibe. You roll dice, move around a life-themed board, and deal with random events that either screw you over or hand you free cash. The art’s got that classic 90s anime style, and the mini-games are simple but weirdly addictive.
First time I played, I had no idea what was happening (thanks, Japanese text), but the goofy animations and sudden bankruptcy scenarios kept me hooked. It’s the kind of game where you’ll lose half your money to a UFO abduction, then win it all back in a rock-paper-scissors tournament. Definitely a niche pick, but perfect if you’re into quirky retro stuff.
