Super Godzilla on SNES is exactly what it sounds like—you stomp around as the big G himself, wrecking cities and throwing down with alien invaders and classic Toho monsters. The controls take a second to get used to (turns out steering a radioactive kaiju isn’t as smooth as Mario), but once you get the hang of it, smashing through buildings and trading atomic breath blasts with other monsters feels pretty satisfying.
It’s not the deepest fighting game out there, but there’s something weirdly fun about the slow, weighty movement—like you’re actually piloting a giant lizard. The sprite work holds up, too, especially when Godzilla goes full glowing rage mode. Just don’t expect a masterpiece—it’s pure, dumb monster-movie chaos.
