Super Goal! 2 on SNES is one of those games that just feels right the moment you boot it up. The pixelated players move with this weirdly satisfying chunky smoothness, and the controls are simple enough that you'll be pulling off slide tackles and bicycle kicks within minutes—even if half of them are accidental at first.
It's not trying to be a hyper-realistic sim, which is why it holds up. Matches are fast, a little chaotic, and the AI actually puts up a decent fight once you bump up the difficulty. The soundtrack’s got that classic SNES punch too—you’ll catch yourself humming the menu theme later.
Honestly, it’s the kind of game where you say "one more match" at midnight and suddenly it’s 2 AM. If you’ve got a soft spot for 16-bit sports games, this one’s still a winner.
