Super Fire Pro Wrestling X Premium is one of those SNES gems that never made it outside Japan, and honestly, it’s a shame. This isn’t your flashy, over-the-top WWE-style wrestling—it’s all about the technical side, with realistic grapples, counters, and submissions that actually feel like a proper match.
What really stands out is the create-a-wrestler mode, which was way ahead of its time. You can tweak everything from movesets to victory poses, and there’s a ridiculous amount of depth for a 16-bit game. Plus, with over 80 wrestlers already in the roster, you’ll never run out of weird, pixelated grapplers to throw into the ring.
If you’re into old-school wrestling games that reward timing and strategy over button mashing, this one’s a hidden classic. Just don’t expect any flaming tables or steel chairs—it’s pure, no-nonsense wrestling.
