If you’re tired of flashy, over-the-top wrestling games, this one’s all about the technical side—chain grapples, submissions, and actual ring psychology instead of just spamming finishers.

The roster’s stacked with around 80 wrestlers, but the real star is the create-a-wrestler mode. It’s surprisingly deep for an SNES game—you can tweak everything from move sets to victory poses, and it actually matters how you build your fighter. I wasted way too much time making a luchador who specialized in ridiculous top-rope flips.

Matches feel slower and more deliberate than something like WWF WrestleFest, but that’s the point. You’ve gotta time your reversals, wear down limbs, and play it smart. It’s not for everyone, but if you want wrestling that feels closer to the real thing, this is the one.
