About Super Dogfight
Super Dogfight came out for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System in 1993, developed by Pixel and published by SETA Corporation. It was one of many shooters on the platform, arriving at a time when developers were pushing the hardware's capabilities for fast, colorful action.
You pilot a fighter jet through a series of side scrolling and overhead levels, shooting down enemy planes, helicopters, and ground targets. Your main goal is to survive each stage, destroying everything in your path while dodging a constant stream of bullets. Two mechanics define the action: you can collect power ups to upgrade your main weapon from a standard shot to lasers or spread shots, and you have a limited supply of screen clearing bombs for emergencies.
