Super Dany is one of those SNES platformers that feels like it’s been hiding in your childhood game collection all along. You play as this little guy Dany—no fancy backstory, just a dude in a red cap who runs, jumps, and bonks enemies on the head. The first level throws you right into it: bright, chunky pixel art, bouncy music, and platforms that actually feel good to land on (unlike some of those janky knockoffs).
What surprised me was how many secrets they crammed into each stage. There’s always some weird corner or suspicious-looking block that makes you go, "Wait, can I…?" and half the time, yeah, you can. Found a hidden warp zone by accident five minutes in because I jumped at the wrong wall. Classic SNES move.
It’s not revolutionary, but it nails that "just one more try" feeling when you miss a jump by two pixels. If you’ve ever wasted an afternoon on Mario or Kirby, this’ll hit the same spot.
