Super Dany is one of those weird little SNES gems that never left France—which is a shame, because it’s got this janky charm to it. You play as this little knight dude (Dany, obviously) running through a castle full of traps, bats, and those annoying floating heads that shoot fire at you. The controls take a second to get used to—your sword swing feels a bit slow at first, but once you time it right, slicing through skeletons is oddly satisfying.
The levels are short but packed with secrets, like hidden health upgrades tucked behind fake walls. And the music? Weirdly catchy chiptune stuff that gets stuck in your head. It’s not the prettiest or smoothest game out there, but there’s something about its rough edges that makes it weirdly fun to mess around with. Just don’t expect a polished masterpiece.
