Super Conflict - The Mideast is one of those SNES strategy games that doesn’t get talked about enough. You start off picking a side—Israel, Egypt, Syria, or a few others—and suddenly you’re juggling tanks, diplomacy, and limited resources while trying not to get steamrolled. The map’s hex-based, which feels way more tactical than your average RTS, and those early turns? Pure tension. Do you push for oil fields first or shore up your defenses?

What I like is that it doesn’t just throw you into mindless combat. You’ve got to actually think about supply lines, alliances (which can backfire spectacularly), and when to bluff your way through negotiations. The AI isn’t a pushover either—forget brute force, you’ll need to outmaneuver them. Graphics are basic, but the gameplay’s got that ‘one more turn’ pull. If you’re into slower, chess-like strategy with a Cold War-era vibe, this one’s a solid deep cut.
