I first played Super Chinese Fighter on the Super Nintendo back in 1995. It was one of those many games from Culture Brain that showed up on the system, a side-scrolling action game that felt familiar if you spent a lot of time with beat 'em ups and platformers from that era. Some stages also let you pick up items like a bow to shoot arrows from a distance. The game moves at a quick pace, and the difficulty can spike suddenly with enemy placements that require quick reflexes.
