About Super Chase H
Super Chase H came out for the Super Nintendo in 1992, a release from Taito. It was part of that wave of early 90s SNES games that tried to blend different genres, standing alongside a lot of other experimental titles on the system at the time.
You control a police officer navigating a city from an overhead view, driving your car to chase down criminals. The main goal is to complete missions by locating and stopping specific target vehicles before they can escape. The gameplay is built on screen by screen exploration of the city map, searching for your quarry, and a signature mechanic where you must carefully ram the suspect's car to disable it without destroying your own vehicle. The pacing is tense; the city feels large, and running out of time or taking too much damage ends your pursuit. It feels like a methodical, high-pressure hunt where one wrong move can ruin everything.
