About Super Chase H.q. (europe)
Super Chase H.Q. came out for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System in 1993, published by Taito. It was part of that wave of arcade-style action games that felt right at home on the SNES, offering a straightforward, high-speed experience without much fuss.
You control an undercover police car, speeding through traffic to catch criminals before they escape. Your main goal is to close the distance and then ram their vehicle repeatedly until it stops. The game scrolls forward automatically, so you're constantly swerving around civilian cars and obstacles; you also have a turbo boost for quick bursts of speed, and a damage meter that forces you to avoid too many collisions. The pacing is relentless, and the difficulty ramps up quickly as stages introduce more hazards and tougher enemy drivers. It feels like a tense, high-speed pursuit where one wrong move can end your chase.
