Super Caesar's Palace is one of those weird early SNES casino sims where you wander around a pixelated Vegas-style floor, dropping coins into slots or trying your luck at blackjack. There are nine games total—roulette, craps, the usual suspects—but the real charm (if you can call it that) is how stiff the NPCs are. They say the same three lines over and over, like they’re stuck in a loop.
At first, I thought the hub world would be fun to explore, but it’s basically just a few screens with some fake palm trees. The games themselves are fine, I guess, if you’re into digital versions of stuff you’d find in any casino. Just don’t expect much depth beyond pressing A to bet and hoping the RNG gods smile on you. It’s the kind of game you boot up for 10 minutes when you’re bored, then forget about.
