Super Buster Bros. is one of those SNES games that looks simple at first—just shooting bubbles, right? But then you start playing, and suddenly you're frantically angling your shots as these bouncy little jerks ricochet off the walls, threatening to crush you from above. The controls are tight, and there's something weirdly satisfying about timing a perfect shot to pop a whole chain before they land on you.
Early levels ease you in, but before long, you're dealing with bubbles that split into smaller ones, or ones that move in unpredictable patterns. The two-player mode is where it really shines—nothing like yelling at your friend when their missed shots send a giant bubble rolling your way. It's got that classic arcade feel where you just want one more try to beat your high score.
Definitely a hidden gem if you're into fast-paced, reflex-heavy shooters.
