Super Buster Bros. is one of those SNES games that looks simple at first—just shooting bubbles, right? But then you start playing, and suddenly you're frantically angling your shots as the screen fills with bouncing orbs, some splitting into smaller, faster ones when you hit them. The controls feel tight, and there's something weirdly satisfying about timing your shots just right to clear a huge cluster before it crushes you.
It starts easy, but by the second stage, you're dodging bubbles while trying to line up ricochets off the walls. I kept getting caught off-guard by the way some bubbles drift lazily while others zip around like they're on a caffeine rush. The music's got that classic SNES charm too—upbeat but not distracting when you're in the zone.
Definitely a hidden gem if you like arcade-style games with a bit of chaos.
