Super Black Bass on SNES is one of those chill-but-slightly-stressful fishing games where you're staring at the water, waiting for a bite, and then suddenly your controller's vibrating like crazy when a big one takes the lure. The overhead view makes it easy to spot fish shadows gliding under your boat, but half the challenge is figuring out which lures they'll actually go for—I wasted so much time early on tossing the wrong stuff at picky bass.
You start in small local tournaments, working your way up to bigger competitions where the fish get smarter and the time limits tighter. The physics feel weirdly satisfying when you finally hook something massive and have to carefully reel it in without snapping the line. It's got that classic '90s charm where the graphics are simple but the tension is real. Definitely a solid pick if you're into that slow-burn arcade fishing vibe.
