Super Birdie Rush is one of those weirdly charming SNES golf games that never made it outside Japan. It's got that early '90s arcade golf vibe—bright colors, exaggerated swings, and this oddly satisfying "plink" sound when you nail a shot. The courses are packed with little obstacles and slopes that make you rethink your club choice last second.
What I love is how fast it plays. No slow-mo wind calculations—just pick your angle, adjust power, and watch your ball bounce off trees or (if you're like me) plop straight into a pond. There's something about the way the camera follows the ball that feels way smoother than it should for 1992. Definitely a hidden gem if you're into retro sports games that don't take themselves seriously.
