Super Baldy Kart - Shelly’s Circuits is one of those SNES racers that somehow nails that perfect mix of chaos and control. You pick your racer—I always go for the weird little guy with the goggles—and then you’re off, skidding around hairpin turns and dodging banana peels like it’s your job. The tracks are packed with shortcuts and sneaky jumps, and half the fun is figuring out which power-up actually helps instead of backfiring (looking at you, "speed boost" that sends me into a wall).
The pixel art holds up surprisingly well, especially the neon-lit night tracks where sparks fly when you scrape the rails. It’s got that old-school kart racing vibe where the AI rubberbands like crazy, so even if you’re way ahead, one bad turn can ruin everything. Perfect for yelling at the screen with friends. Just don’t blame me when you lose three hours to "one more race."
