Street Hockey '95 is one of those SNES sports games that kinda flew under the radar—probably because it feels a little rough around the edges. You get the standard arcade hockey setup: pick your team, slap some pucks, and try not to get wrecked by the janky physics when you crash into the boards.
The controls are... well, they take some getting used to. Passing feels weirdly delayed, and the goalies move like they're stuck in molasses. But there's something oddly charming about how over-the-top the hits are—players go flying like they got hit by a truck, which never gets old.
It’s not NHL '94, but if you’re into weird mid-'90s sports games, this one’s got a weirdly specific vibe. Just don’t expect it to blow your mind.
