Stardust Suplex is one of those weird, charming SNES wrestling games that never made it outside Japan—which is a shame because it's got this ridiculous cosmic wrestler theme going on. You've got luchadors throwing suplexes in space, masked fighters with neon tights, and these over-the-top special moves that look like something out of an anime. The controls take a second to get used to (grappling feels a little stiff at first), but once you figure out the timing, pulling off a spinning piledriver while floating near a nebula is oddly satisfying.
It’s not as deep as something like Fire Pro, but the sheer absurdity of the roster—I mean, one guy’s literally called "Galactic Emperor"—makes it hard to put down. The sprite work’s actually pretty great too, with these flashy entrances and exaggerated animations. If you’re into retro wrestling games or just love SNES-era weirdness, this one’s a hidden gem.
