Stable Star - Kyuusha Monogatari is one of those weird, charming SNES gems that never left Japan. You're basically running a horse stable, but it's way more involved than you'd think—breeding, training, and racing them in this oddly addictive mix of sim and sports game.

The pixel art has that cozy 16-bit charm, and the races actually get pretty tense when your horse is neck-and-neck down the final stretch. Took me a few tries to figure out the breeding mechanics (some bloodlines just produce faster foals), but once it clicks, you'll be obsessively tweaking your stable.

Definitely a niche pick, but if you like management games with personality, it's got that classic SNES quirkiness in spades.
