This SNES Spider-Man game is basically a love letter to the '90s animated series—same art style, same cheesy voice lines, even the same theme song gets stuck in your head. You swing through New York (well, as much as the SNES could handle back then), punching thugs and dodging weirdly floaty projectiles. The controls take a sec to get used to—wall-crawling feels a little stiff at first, but once you nail the web-swinging timing, it’s weirdly satisfying.
Fights are a mix of basic combos and using your webs to trap enemies, though some of the boss battles are just plain unfair unless you memorize their patterns. Still, hearing that cartoon voice shout "Spider-Sense tingling!" never gets old. If you grew up with the show, it’s pure nostalgia. If not… well, it’s still a solid beat-em-up with some janky charm.
