Spider-man And The X-men In Arcade's Revenge (europe) Game
📅 1992 ✍️ Software Creations

Oh man, Arcade's Revenge—this one's a weird little relic from the '90s. You get to play as Spider-Man, Wolverine, Storm, and Gambit, each with their own clunky-but-kinda-charming platforming levels. The controls take some getting used to (Spidey's wall-crawling feels especially janky), but there's something oddly satisfying about figuring out each character's quirks.
Arcade's death traps are the real star here—expect spinning blades, disappearing platforms, and those annoying little robots that never stop shooting. The music's surprisingly catchy too, in that early SNES way where everything sounds like it's being played through a tin can. Just don't expect it to hold your hand—this one's got that classic "die a million times until you memorize the patterns" difficulty.
It's not the best X-Men or Spider-Man game out there, but if you're into weird crossover nostalgia, it's got its moments.
