Speedy Gonzales on SNES is one of those weirdly charming platformers from the '90s where you play as the fastest mouse in Mexico, zipping through levels full of cheese, traps, and cartoonish enemies. The controls take a second to get used to—Speedy slides around like he’s on buttered tiles—but once you get the hang of it, pulling off quick dodges feels pretty satisfying.
You’ll bounce off cacti, outrun rolling boulders, and collect enough cheese to make a rat jealous. Some of the jumps are a little janky by modern standards, but the bright colors and goofy sound effects give it that classic Looney Tunes energy. Just don’t expect deep lore—it’s pure, chaotic fun.
Honestly, it’s not the best platformer on the SNES, but if you’re in the mood for something fast and silly, it’s hard to beat Speedy’s frantic energy.
