This is the SNES version of the classic that started it all—Space Invaders, but with a little extra polish. The pixel-perfect rows of aliens still creep down the screen, and that iconic marching sound gets more intense as they get closer. The controls are tight, just like the arcade, but the SNES pad makes it feel a bit smoother. You’ve got the classic mode, of course, but there’s also a "Time Trial" where you race to clear waves before the clock runs out. Honestly, it’s the same game you remember, just with a few extra modes to mess around with when you want a break from the original.
It’s simple, but that’s the charm—no complicated power-ups, just you, your laser, and a wall of descending doom. The SNES version holds up surprisingly well.
