Sonic Pinball Party Game

Okay, so Sonic Pinball Party on the GBA is exactly what it sounds like—pinball, but with that classic Sonic flair. You get these wild tables themed around Sonic, NiGHTS, and even Samba de Amigo (yeah, the maracas game). The physics feel solid, and the tables are packed with little details—like bumpers shaped like springs or loops that actually look like they’re ripped from Green Hill Zone.
At first, I thought it’d just be a basic pinball reskin, but there’s a surprising amount to unlock. The Sonic table has this chaos emerald mini-game that pops up if you hit the right targets, and suddenly you’re in a tiny platformer section. Weirdly fun? Also, the rumble feature (if you’ve got a compatible cartridge) adds this nice little kick when you nail a big combo.
It’s not the deepest pinball sim out there, but for a handheld time-killer with some nostalgia sprinkled in, it holds up way better than it should. The music’s got that classic SEGA pep too.
