Okay, so Sonic Adventure 7 GBC is one of those weird, unofficial Sonic demakes that somehow ended up on the Game Boy Color. You'd think a 3D-ish Sonic game crammed onto a tiny cartridge would be a disaster, but it's... weirdly playable?

You get the usual loop-de-loops and speed sections, just pixelated and chunky. The controls are actually pretty responsive for GBC—way better than that awful Sonic Blast port. The levels feel like someone took Dreamcast stages and shrunk them down to 2D, complete with awkwardly translated boss fights. It’s janky, but in a charming "how did this even exist?" way.

If you're into obscure Sonic romhacks or just love seeing ambitious failures, this one’s a trip. Just don’t expect it to replace your copy of Sonic Advance.
