Oh man, Smurfs 2 on SNES—this one takes me back. It's a side-scroller where you play as different Smurfs, each with their own weird little abilities. Handy Smurf can build bridges (super useful), Brainy floats with an umbrella (kinda janky but works), and Hefty just punches everything (obviously my favorite).
The levels are these bright, cartoony forests and caves, and you're mostly collecting berries while avoiding Gargamel's traps. Some of the platforming feels a little stiff, but there's something charming about how aggressively 90s it all is—like, of course there's a level where you ride a stork. Of course there is.
It's not the deepest game, but if you grew up with the Smurfs or just dig retro platformers, it's got that weird, specific vibe. Also, the music is weirdly catchy in that tinny SNES way.
