About Shougi Saikyou Ii
Shougi Saikyou II came out in 1995 for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System, developed by Magical Company. It was part of that later wave of SNES releases, a time when the library was deep with all kinds of strategy titles. This one focused entirely on shogi, which set it apart from the more common chess games you'd find.
You control the pieces on a shogi board, aiming to checkmate your opponent's king.
