About Shanghai Iii
Shanghai III came out for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System in 1995, published by Sunsoft. It was part of that later wave of SNES games, arriving when players were already familiar with the console's capabilities. This was a time when puzzle games had to stand on the strength of their mechanics alone.
You control a cursor to remove matching tiles from a stacked layout, clearing the entire board to win. The game introduces special tile sets and layouts that change the usual patterns, along with a time attack mode that pushes you to make matches faster.
