About Saturday Night Slam Masters (europe)
Capcom released Saturday Night Slam Masters for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System in 1994. It was a time when the SNES library was full of arcade style games, and this one fit right in with its bold, cartoonish look and fast paced action.
You control one of several wrestlers, like the mayor from Final Fight, Mike Haggar, and your goal is to win a wrestling tournament. The main mechanics involve grappling an opponent to initiate moves, building up a special meter for powerful slams and slams, and using the ring ropes to bounce into attacks. The pacing is quick, with matches that can end suddenly if you land a big move, and the difficulty can spike against certain opponents who relentlessly attack. It feels like a chaotic, over the top brawl where a single mistake can cost you the match.
