Saturday Night Slam Masters came out on the Super Nintendo in 1993, developed and published by Capcom. It was part of that era when fighting games were expanding beyond one-on-one duels, offering something a bit different for the SNES library.

You pick one of ten wrestlers, each with a unique style and special move, and control them with three main buttons for jumping, attacking, and pinning. The main goal is to beat your opponent in the ring, either by pinning them after a strong attack or by knocking them out. You can grab opponents when you are close to perform body slams and throws, use the ropes to bounce into attacks, and climb the turnbuckle for high-risk moves. Sometimes you can leave the ring briefly to find weapons, like a chair, to use in the fight. The game moves at a fast pace and the computer opponents can be quite tough, especially as you advance. It feels chaotic and physical, like a real wrestling match condensed into a few frantic minutes.
