About Sanrio World Smash Ball!
Sanrio World Smash Ball! came out for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System in 1993, published by Character Soft. It was part of that wave of games that tried to blend familiar characters with new kinds of gameplay, a common sight on the SNES. You get to play as Hello Kitty, My Melody, and other Sanrio faces, which immediately sets it apart from the more typical platformers or RPGs of the time.
