About Sanrio Shanghai
Sanrio Shanghai came out in 1994 for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System, published by Character Soft. It was part of that wave of Japanese adventure games that tried to blend a cute aesthetic with exploration, a common approach on the platform at the time.
You control a young girl exploring a large, multi-story Chinese mansion, room by room.
