SM Choukyoushi Hitomi Vol. 2 is one of those weird, Japan-only SNES games that never made it overseas—which is a shame because it’s got this odd charm to it. You play as Hitomi, a strict but kind-hearted teacher trying to whip her students into shape through... well, let’s just say unconventional methods. The gameplay’s a mix of light puzzle-solving and visual novel-style choices, with some quirky minigames thrown in.
At first glance, it feels like a typical school sim, but then you realize the dialogue options actually matter—pick the wrong tone with a student, and they might shut down completely. The pixel art’s surprisingly expressive, especially during the dramatic classroom scenes. And yeah, you’ll need a translation patch unless you’re fluent in 90s Japanese school slang.
It’s definitely niche, but if you’re into obscure SNES titles with personality, this one’s worth a look.
