SD Gundam - Power Formation Puzzle is one of those weird little SNES gems that flips the usual puzzle game logic on its head. Instead of clearing lines like in Tetris, you're actually trying to prevent blocks from disappearing—which sounds simple until you realize how fast those Gundam-shaped pieces stack up.
The first few minutes feel familiar—blocks drop, you rotate them—but then you notice the real challenge: keeping formations intact while new pieces keep coming. Mess up, and whole chunks vanish, leaving gaps that make everything harder. It’s oddly satisfying when you nail a perfect setup, though. And yeah, the chibi Gundam designs are a nice touch if you’re into that aesthetic.
Definitely not your average puzzle game, but that’s what makes it stick in your memory.
