If you've ever wanted to see Gundams as tiny, chibi puzzle pieces, this SNES gem is your jam. It's like Tetris got a mecha makeover—you're sliding and rotating these adorable little mobile suits to form complete rows before the screen fills up. The first few levels ease you in, but don't get too comfy; later stages throw in weirdly shaped units that make clearing lines way trickier than it looks.
What’s cool is how each Gundam type has its own color scheme, so Wing Zero fans can spot their boy instantly. The music’s got that classic SNES synth energy—peppy enough to keep you tapping your foot while you panic over a nearly full grid. And yeah, it’s nostalgic if you love the franchise, but even if you don’t, the puzzle mechanics hold up surprisingly well. Just be warned: those squat little Zakus are deceptively hard to place.
It’s one of those games where you swear you’ll stop after one level, then suddenly it’s been an hour. The sprite work alone makes it worth a play.
