SD F-1 Grand Prix is this weird little SNES racing game from Japan where all the cars and drivers are super-deformed chibi versions of real F1 stuff. It’s part of Video System’s F-1 series, but way goofier—imagine tiny cars skidding around corners with these big, exaggerated animations.
The handling’s a bit slippery at first, but once you get used to it, there’s a surprising amount of strategy in picking the right upgrades between races. I kept overspending on engine power early on and then realizing my brakes couldn’t handle the speed. Classic mistake.
It’s not the deepest racer, but the charm’s in the details—like how your driver’s helmet bobs around wildly when you crash. Definitely one of those "better with friends" games if you can find someone to split the screen with.
