About Rockman X (japan) (rev A)
Rockman X (Japan) (Rev A) came out for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System in 1993, developed and published by Capcom. It arrived during a time when the SNES library was rich with action games, and this title continued the company's run of polished, challenging platformers.
You control the reploid X, moving screen by screen through side scrolling stages filled with mechanized enemies. Your main objective is to stop the rogue maverick leader Sigma by first defeating eight maverick bosses in any order. Signature mechanics include acquiring a defeated boss's special weapon, like the charged shot or homing torpedo, and finding hidden armor capsules that permanently upgrade X's abilities, such as a dash move or enhanced buster.
