About Rock And Roll Racing
Rock and Roll Racing came out for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System in 1993 from Blizzard Entertainment. It was a straightforward arcade racer that stood out because of its focus on combat and its licensed rock soundtrack.
You control a driver in a top-down vehicle, racing against three others on tracks set on alien planets. The main goal is to finish in the top two to advance through the leagues and unlock faster cars. Your car comes equipped with two weapons: a forward-firing laser or missile and a rear-dropped mine or oil slick. Between races, you spend your winnings on upgrades like better tires, engines, and weapons, which is essential because the AI drivers become fiercely competitive.
