Man, Robocop Versus The Terminator on SNES is exactly what it sounds like—two 90s action icons duking it out in a side-scrolling shooter that somehow actually works. You start off blasting through Detroit as Robocop with that satisfyingly chunky pistol, but before long, you're up against Terminators that soak up bullets like sponges. Good thing you can upgrade to a plasma rifle later.
The levels are brutal in that classic SNES way—enemies come at you from all angles, and the screen loves to lock you into tight spots. The soundtrack nails that gritty cyberpunk vibe, though, and there's something weirdly satisfying about watching Robocop punch a T-800 in the face. Just don't expect it to go easy on you.
If you grew up renting weird licensed games from Blockbuster, this one’s a nostalgia trip with some real teeth. You’ll either love it or rage-quit by level three.
