I first played Robocop Versus The Terminator on the Super Nintendo back in 1993. You step into the heavy metal boots of Robocop, sent on a mission to stop Skynet from being created in the future.

You control Robocop through side scrolling levels, moving screen by screen to clear out enemies. Your main goal is to fight through waves of Terminators and other threats to prevent a future machine takeover. The game gives you a few key tools: your standard Auto-9 pistol with unlimited ammo, heavier temporary weapons you can pick up, and a screen clearing bomb for desperate moments. The pacing is relentless, and the difficulty is punishing; enemies swarm from all directions, and precision jumping is required to navigate the industrial environments.
