So here’s the deal: RoboCop vs. The Terminator on SNES is basically the '90s action movie crossover we never got. You play as RoboCop—yep, the slow-walking, justice-dispensing cyborg cop—but instead of just busting Detroit criminals, you’re suddenly knee-deep in a war against Skynet’s Terminators. Turns out, OCP’s tech is what creates Skynet in the future, so a resistance fighter named Flo time-travels to stop it… and now you’re stuck cleaning up the mess.
Gameplay’s classic side-scrolling action—you lumber around blasting everything with your Auto-9 (unlimited ammo, thank god), swapping to heavier guns when you find them. The Terminators? Absolute bullet sponges. You’ll waste half your ammo just to drop one, and then there’s OCP’s goons and random hazards like exploding barrels. It’s chaotic, kinda janky, and weirdly satisfying when you finally clear a screen.
Also, the soundtrack slaps—tense industrial beats that actually make you feel like you’re in some doomed future war. Just don’t expect RoboCop to move faster than a brisk walk. He’s still RoboCop, after all.
