Man, this one's a weird but fun mashup—RoboCop and the Terminator duking it out in a side-scroller that feels like it shouldn’t exist, but I’m glad it does. You mostly play as RoboCop (obviously), blasting through waves of Terminator knockoffs with your trusty pistol, though you can swap to other weapons if you find them. The controls are a little stiff, but that kinda fits RoboCop’s whole vibe, right?
First level drops you right into a ruined Detroit, and the Terminators just keep coming. Some crawl, some shoot, and some just straight-up explode—no mercy. The music’s got that classic SNES synth grit, and the sprite work is surprisingly detailed for a licensed game. Just don’t expect deep lore here; it’s mostly an excuse to watch two ‘80s icons wreck each other.
Fair warning: it gets brutal fast. You’ll die a lot before figuring out the rhythm, but landing a perfect shot on a T-800’s glowing red eye never gets old.
