RoboCop 3 on SNES is one of those licensed games that feels exactly like you'd expect—a clunky but weirdly fun side-scroller where you stomp through Detroit blasting criminals. The controls take a second to get used to (why does jumping feel so heavy?), but once you do, it's satisfying to unload your pistol into waves of goons. The sprites are big and chunky, and some of the enemy animations are hilariously stiff—like they forgot to finish polishing them.

It's not the best movie tie-in out there, but if you grew up with RoboCop or just love janky '90s action games, there's something oddly charming about it. Just don't expect it to play like the PC version—this one's all about straightforward run-and-gun chaos.
