Return of Double Dragon on SNES is one of those classic beat-'em-ups where you just grab a buddy and start swinging. You play as Billy or Jimmy (or both, if you've got a friend around), and the whole thing feels like a street brawl turned up to 11—punches, kicks, and the occasional pipe or bat if you're lucky.
The Shadow Warriors show up in waves, and some of them actually put up a decent fight—unlike those early enemies in other brawlers who just stand there. The controls are a little stiff at first, but once you get the hang of throwing guys into the background or pulling off a spinning kick, it clicks. Also, the music? Absolute banger for an SNES game.
It’s not the deepest fighter out there, but if you’re into that old-school arcade vibe where you just plow through bad guys with pure aggression, this one’s a solid pick.
