Retro Mario World Super Mario Bros Game

Oh man, Super Mario World on SNES is still one of the best platformers ever. You start off bouncing on goombas and grabbing power-ups like the cape feather—which, by the way, feels way cooler than the raccoon tail from Mario 3 once you get the hang of gliding. The overworld map’s packed with secret exits and alternate paths, and I still remember the first time I stumbled into Star Road by accident.
It’s got that perfect balance—easy to pick up, but some of those later levels (looking at you, Tubular) will test your patience. And Yoshi? Absolute game-changer. Nothing beats riding him around and watching him gobble up enemies. The colors pop even now, and the music’s stupidly catchy.
If you’ve never played it, you’re missing out on a classic that holds up way better than it has any right to.
