Oh man, this SNES Ren & Stimpy game is... something else. You jump through these weird time periods trying to stop Muddy Mudskipper from messing up history, which sounds straightforward until you realize half the levels feel like they were designed during a sugar rush. One minute you're in the Stone Age whacking cavemen with a giant mallet, next thing you know you're dodging flying pies in some bizarre future carnival.
The controls are kinda stiff (typical for licensed SNES games), but there's this weird charm to how aggressively 90s it all feels - the colors are cranked up to neon levels, the sound effects are straight from the show's gross-out humor, and Stimpy's voice clips will haunt your dreams. Not gonna lie, some of the platforming sections are brutal, but the sheer absurdity keeps you pushing through.
Honestly, it's more fun if you treat it like an interactive cartoon episode rather than a tight platformer. The developers clearly just went for maximum Ren & Stimpy chaos.
