So, Ren & Stimpy: Fire Dogs on SNES is exactly as weird as the show—which is a good thing. You play as Stimpy, stumbling around a firehouse trying to gather the most random "firefighting" gear imaginable. A trampoline? A beaver? Yeah, it makes zero sense, but that’s the charm.
First few minutes, you’re just wandering the station, bumping into stuff, and realizing half the items are hidden in ridiculous places. The socks got me—why does a firefighter need socks? But once you finally collect everything (good luck with that beaver), you team up with Ren for the real chaos: catching flying appliances hurled from a burning building. It’s as janky and hilarious as it sounds.
Honestly, the controls are kinda clunky, but the sheer absurdity makes up for it. And yeah, that golden fire hydrant helmet is totally worth the struggle. If you loved the show’s brand of nonsense, this is a weird little time capsule.
